Love it but it quit working

I received the ice maker as a gift, and I absolutely love it! It worked perfectly for about 4 months but now has stopped producing ice - I’m trying to troubleshoot at the moment, and sincerely hope I can get it resolved…
I would recommend this to a friend!

It has been great so far. We use it all the time, love the small ice. We only use distilled water in it and have cleaned it twice in the last three months, once when we got it to get it started and once before leaving on vacation.. Works great. Unplugged it and cleaned it our before leaving on vacation, came back, put it together and it made ice with in 15 minutes and was full in about 2 hours. Good stuff.

Love the ice!! I’ve already had to replace it once, but I got the same thing again because I love it! It just stops working and makes horrible noises.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good machine. Price point is high. Some flaws

Pretty good design. Runs rarely. Ice doesn't remelt often. Kind of loud when running but tolerable and because it runs relatively infrequently, it's not a nuisance. In this regard it's much better than offbrand alternatives.
The ice hopper tilt-out is not well designed. it's easy to pull the container all the way out. It leaks condensate every time it's opened. Feels like this could have been better designed.

Makes loud screeching noise right out of the box.
Performed clean procedure. It won’t make a full bin of ice before it starts making noise again. Loud enough you can hear outside of the house.
