Most beautiful, delicious ice in the world. Makes even water exciting. Used it everyday, addictively for 5 months, ...and then it stopped working. I took care of this machine following all the protocols for descaling and regularly cleaned it and let it dry out. So sad it isn't working. I purchased a three-year warranty, so I am hopeful that I'll be enjoying these lovely bits of ice again soon. (note: never chew! I damaged some teeth, learned a good lesson, and still love this ice!)

We're glad to hear you're happy with your Opal machine. The good thing is you'll never run out of nugget ice. This unit produces one pound of fresh ice per hour and has a large-capacity bin that holds up to 3lbs of crunchable nugget ice!

Our whole family loves this ice machine! I will say we have had to run the cleaning cycle every month because if not it starts to make this terrible loud sound.
