[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and it sounded good for the size. Then I bought the Bose smart ultra soundbar and it sounds great. If you can swing it, the Bose smart ultra soundbar is better.

Missing Bose richness

This product is missing that deep, rich, Bose sound that I’m so used to. I’m definitely going to have to purchase the bass unit, but I keep waiting for a sale OR for them to update (current design is 6 years old). I was beginning to dump my Sonos equipment to go back to Bose, but I’ve put that plan on hold for now.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel your soundbar is missing the deep, rich Bose sound you were expecting! Adding a bass module is certainly one way around this.
