Happy so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My builder installed this for me so I can't comment on value for money (given it was priced into the house). All in all, I think it's a reasonable buy. Only grouse I have is that the microwave isn't as big as I wouldn't have expected it to be space wise) and it isn't also as powerful as I'd expected it to be. My comparisons are to a microwave that would have been over my cooktop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

just one thing missing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my micro/oven to replace a double oven after experiencing a flood in our home. This was a great replacement since we did not previously have a built in microwave. I was disappointed that a broiler pan did not come with the oven.

Great Product

My wife just commented on how well the "warm" feature worked in the oven where she could leave something for hours without fearing that it would end up burned or dried out. The is a great product and was very easy to install.

Easily won the comparison race

Decided the time had come to update the original microwave/oven combo unit that came with the home. I spent hours researching the choices on the market; but, always came back to my G.E. Profile unit with the convection bake and roast features. In checking over the benefits and appearance, I realized that a great deal of inspiration by the G.E. engineers had produced a combo unit that should serve me very well for years to come.

We came back to the G E Profile Series after our previous G E Profile Side by Side Refrigerator and Wall Oven both lasted over 18 years. Actually, they still work but we were remodeling, so replaced with new G E Profile appliances and gave the others to charity since they still work and look fantastic!

Microwave Vent Problem

The vent from microwave releases steam and moisture that is directed "up" where steam and moisture collects on the cabinets. We have had to stop using the microwave for baked potatoes or other items that generate steam because we cannot risk damaging the cabinets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
