Very nice high res touch screen, excellent for web browsing, video playback, and productivity. Not really tested for gaming, but have played the new Highrock game with zero issues. Only thing preventing it from being 5* is the included/recommended charger. It is barely spec'd to handle max power draw, and will overheat very quickly, become exceptionally hot, and stop functioning until it cools when high utilization ends. Had to buy a second charger and swap them out as they get hot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Lenovo Ideapad. My first one was a 14 inch and lasted me for two years and I never had any issues with it. It is still in use by a family member.
I wanted to upgrade to a 16 inch as I am taking classes at a local college and for the easier strain on my eyesight. So far this new Ideapad has worked as well as can be expected. I've only had it for a few weeks and I expect it to last like my last one did.
As a former Pro Support Dell Tech, I had researched numerous other brands before purchasing the two Lenovos I have owned and the price for what you get is unbeatable. The price I paid for this latest one also includes a 3 year premium warranty. Again, you can't beat the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am enjoying the laptop but ran into a snag where on the first usage of the HDMI port the HDMI cable (that I have used prior) got stuck inside and destroyed the port upon removal. The default warranty of this laptop would not cover this issue even though it was within the first 30 days of purchasing the laptop. I would encourage anyone that is thinking about getting this laptop to get the extended warranty to cover things like this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Ideapad5. It's my first time buying a Lenovo and I'm happy with it. Easy to use and stylish. It's heavier than I expected, which is actually important to me, but I should have researched It's weight more before I bought it.
