Disappointment.

We were very disappointed with this particular speaker. There is a problem with the sound control. When viewing the guide, the sound goes off & on, up in volume or down in volume. If you select a different station you may have no sound or very loud.
Bose is apparently aware of this problem but has released the product for market.

I have had this sound bar running now for six months and could not be more satisfied. My main reason for the purchase was to improve the speech portion of the sound which this unit from Boss does beautifully , but I was amazed at what it does for the overall sound quality it makes the sound come to life with depth . Two thumbs up to Boss and all for $300.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is small but mighty. Since I installed it in my living room I have stopped going to the basement where I have home theater worth of 3k set up. I will recommend this 1million times for anyone looking to upgrade their tv speaker.

Very good Value for money

Finally I got my first Bose Product. Decided to go for a basic version as it was my first BOSE product. But it's unbelievably good and very good sound effect. Watching movies are now a next level experience. All my next sound systems are BOSE for Sure.
If budget is an issue wand want a basic product then this one's a right choice.

Je m'en servais que pour écouter de la musique quelques fois par semaine.
Je croyais que la marque Bose était plus fiable que cela.
J'ai eu un petit système de son JVC qui fonctionnait toujours après 30 ans!
Pour ce qui était du son c'était bien, mais pour la longévité on repassera.
Quand même pas donné, 300$ à part les taxes

was easy to purchase .. picked up went smoothly .. would have preferred a bigger sound bar but was not available. However as our original was malfunctioning this was a good buy. Bose tops the list.

Remote control annoying

I'm giving this soundbar a 3 star because the remote control for the system is very annoying. There is no way to control or turn on the sound without the remote. The bar itself has no on /off or volume. So if you lose the remote or temporarily misplaced it you have no way of turning it on. Not only that the sound bar automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity. So sometimes when I'm sitting watching movies or show for a night with pauses and breaks inbetween I have to find the remote 3-4 times to turn the soundbar back on.
The sound is great. I just wish the actual bar had an on button incase the remote went missing. Also wish there was a phone app to turn on the bar as a backup.
