Good for a room.

The soundbar is not ideal for the entire living room and dining room. It sounds good, however, so I recommend it if you want to place it just in your bedroom. For 20 dollars more I got a Hisense with better features and watts.
Great purchase. The sound is amazing. Always purchase Bose. I had limited space for the length, so this one is great. The speaker fits perfectly under my TV. The room is an open concept of kitchen and living room. Approximately a total of 600 square feet.
I can turn the volume up to continue to enjoy in other rooms.
My wife and I are seniors, I am slightly hearing challenged this Bose TV speaker, when set in dialogue mode is crystal clear. I have speaker connected via optical. Very pleased.
Only Bose is able to deliver such a perfect product inside and out. From looks, build quality, super simplicity, very well thought through internals and operations… and that’s probably why everyone just likes it so much. Then the sound… we got a 65” Sony TV and thought its speakers would be good for a TV that size. No comparison at all. Without the Bose sound, the TV was underwhelming… with Bose sound, TV is all captivating and more.
This sound bar looks a little small for a 65” TV but i haven’t had the need to turn up past 40%-50% volume as it would be too loud for the family.
And i like the ultra simple eArc setup as well the 3.5mm analog input — both which automatically disable Bluetooth when plugged in.
Short story… For me a speaker which could “electrically disable Bluetooth when sensing either the eArc or 3.5mm plug was important as I seem to have an (new) Apple TV that was loosing Bluetooth settings in middle of night causing the Bluetooth speaker to announce “no connection” in the middle of the night!
So, for a TV setup i’ll stick with a non-Bluetooth setup thank you, and the Bose TV Speaker does exactly that.
I initially hardly noticed any difference between this and the built in tv speaker, however after having it for a week and a variety of different programming I notice a huge difference. The voice isolating feature works beautifully and really makes speaking sound much clearer, but the thing that really struck me is when there’s wind or rain or even certain bass-y beats on the tv (like in background music) it genuinely sounds like it’s coming from outside or from behind me. The first time I watched a show with some bass in the background music I thought it was coming from my neighbours apartment but I hit mute and it was the tv the whole time, and that’s with the bass turned all the way down
Very easy setup, a very unique remote with sunk in buttons, and automatic turn on and off makes this a very easy to use device and once you’re all setup the way you like you can just use your normal tv remote and never have to think about the sound bar again as it’s all automatic. Very good quality sound, especially for the price point. Even the Bluetooth audio sounds great.
