Bought for dialogue

I purchased this to enhance dialogue for everyday TV viewing and it does the job quite well, can't comment on movies since I run my surround sound for that. But for your run of the mill average TV watching it does the job quite well.

Bose Sound Bar

I rate this product 5 out of 5. I have a slight hearing problem and was having trouble hearing my TV, especially when people were speaking and the background noise would interfere, however, with this sound bar I no longer have difficulty. Music sounds awesome. I no longer need a stereo. I no longer need closed caption. Thank you for a great product.

Shutting off

When it on and working it a pretty good product, although at times it has a mind of its own and shuts off for no reason, the remote can be 10 feet from me watching something on tv and all of a sudden it is silent, so I go grab the remote turn it back on and start listening again and just like that it’s off again, not sure what it can be maybe a short inside of the speaker or something but it will happen again and again for five minutes or longer shut off till I quit trying
And this happens when it’s first turned on or if it has been on for a while already so I don’t think it has anything to do with it being on to long or too loud it’s never really on loud at all
Once or twice I tried it sort of loud but that’s maybe little more than half way turned up and that was plenty loud for us
As for recommendations for this I’m not sure because if I don’t get it straightened out and it is a long process of my sending it out and me having to wait for extended time me to call and check on the progress of soundbar etc
For 350 sound bar and it’s only four or five months old shouldn’t be happening
But I guess nothing is maintenance free
Happy with the unit when it works, disappointing for me to keep having to turn it back on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not up to expectations

I don’t think this product is up to my expectations. The volume level raises and lowers drastically as you change channels. I don’t find the sound quality all that improved over the television speakers. I plan to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just replaced my soundbar from 2010 with the bose tv soundbar and the difference is quite noticeable the sound is really crisp and clear

I love the soundbar. It surely make your music listening experience and watching movies on Netflix more enjoyable and entertaining. The bass is just right and the dialogue enhancement is perfect. I highly recommend this product.

Easy setup, great sound

The speaker was easy to set up - no remote feature adjustments required. Could not attach via HDMI ARC, so set up through the optical fibre. Excellent sound. Bluetooth worked well with iPad and iPhone.
I would recommend this to a friend!
