So far, so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to check out this KIDDE DETECT Smoke Alarm because of its 10 year battery life. There’s nothing more annoying than having your smoke detector battery go low and start chirping in the middle of the night or worrying about remembering to change their batteries every so often. This smoke detector eliminates those issues. It was easy to install with the included screws and mounting bracket and I could quickly test it to make sure it was ready to go. It’s supposed to offer fast alerts and reduce false alarms, but I have not had any instances where I’ve been able to test this out (thankfully!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks to be a well made fire alarm with the ease of installing everywhere you like. You don’t need to hardwire this fire alarm which means you can mount it everywhere inside.

Life saving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The long lasting battery is a saving in itself. It’s small but LOUD, which is what you want in a detector. Super easy to install which is great. Not overly sensitive so no my cooking didn’t set it off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoke detector was very easy to install. It’s pretty amazing that the battery is good for 10 years. When I tested the unit after installing, the sound will definitely get your attention. If you are looking for a good quality, easy to install smoke detector, this is definitely the one to buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many reasons to like this smoke alarm- it has easy installation, clear and loud sound to alert you in case of smoke or fire. My favorite part though is knowing it will work for 10 years without worrying about changing the batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the battery life lasts so long, that's a major bonus to not have to hear the dying batteries. 10 years! It was easy to install as we're familiar with doing such things. I put this in my daughter's room as there was no detector in there and that made me nervous as a fire survivor. I've tested it and it works great but is not overly sensitive to little things like low-burning candles. I have another Kidde detector- a plug-in carbon monoxide detector and I'm so happy with the quality of both. Not to be dramatic but I sleep easier at night now knowing that we'd hear the alarms from all rooms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great smoke detector and easy to install! It’s not too sensitive to kitchen heat but it does pick up good when I tested it. It has a loud sound and the battery said it’s good for 10 years!
