Not a reliable alarm

False alarm too many times. This alarm has gone off multiple times in the middle of the night and won't shut off with a push button. No other alarm does this in the house. For the expense to be safe is important but to be faulty and not able to shut off with a push even going outside is disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I need to delete the other review as I thought that was the correct alarm but this is the correct alarm. This alarm woke up our family the other night scaring us so badly! Not just once did the alarm go off falsely In the middle of the night but twice! Please do better! Upon seeing other reviews there's a pattern here! We don't need ppl assuming the alarm is a false alarm, time is of the essence when it comes to fire being fires double in size every 3 minutes! Please please look into this do a recall something!

Goodbye to that annoying beeping sound when the battery runs low! The white perfectly blends into my ceiling and it is so light weight unlike my old one!

Great for home

I love that it has a long battery life as I hate having to hear the annoying beeping sound when batteries need a change. It was durable and easy to install and isn’t as sensitive as some other brand smoke detectors.
