This gazebo is an awesome addition to our backyard! We get intense afternoon sun and wanted to have a shaded area to hang out and also give us the ability to have a real shade garden behind our deck. We have already gotten several compliments from our neighbors about how nice this gazebo looks. My fiancé and I were able to put it together over a couple days without too many issues, but there were some steps that it would have been nice to have another set of hands. The instructions are 95 pictures, so if you need detailed explanations, you will probably have some trouble. Pay close attention to the orientation of the pieces on the pictures. I would recommend have a tall standing ladder when putting this together. There is still an issue with gapping at the wooden decorative portion underneath the roof (you can see it in the pictures). I hope the manufacturer fixes this. I also recommend not putting up the roofing panels on a windy day. I thought I might fly away when I was lifting one up to place on the roof and a gust of wind blew by. Keep the panels in the shade until you are ready to lay them down, they get very hot very quickly in the sun. This doesn’t make the space under the gazebo hot though. Overall, I am extremely happy to have this new space in our backyard and look forward to getting a nice lounge set to place underneath it.
