We love the new pavilion. It did take us about 3 days to put it up, but that was mainly because of rain. Everything was marked and installation was pretty easy. My husband and son did most of the installation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a great gazebo! My honey took about 3 days to build on his own. Everyone that comes over always gives us great feed back our gazebo. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is at it is metal it has a fake wood look some of the pieces came with scratches that scratched off the fake wood look.
Gazebo is beautiful, great quality supplies. The instructions don't have words, only pictures which are hard to figure out at times, unless you're handy and familiar with building materials. Definitely have a ratchet set available. All pieces are labeled with coordinating letters to identify them.
Sunjoy, our #1 DIY go to company. Aesthetically pleasing; sturdy finished product. Easy to follow picture instructions with all components appropriately marked. All necessary hardware labeled and individually packaged in plastic trays, including the needed tools. Will definitely be purchasing again.
You cannot beat the price of these products. The quality is incredible for what you pay. The price of cedar alone would approach the cost of the entire pavilion. I used mine to create a privacy barrier between my hot tub area and the neighbor's airbnb. I mounted tongue and groove boards on the back side and some bamboo reeds. Tiki's coming soon.
The way I did it required me to remove some of the cross braces. The tongue and groove seems to substitute structurally for that because you can't even tell they aren't on there. The structure is rock solid and I didn't even mount it to the ground yet.
My Wife and I had this delivered and set up in about a week total . Only thing I’d like to see is the pieces more clearly marked - but directions were pretty clear after we got into it. Is very strong after assembly. Looks just like pictures.
I had the Assembly team build this and I had to have them come back due to the job that was done. Overall, it doesn't seem like a very clean build. The 3 pieces of wood don't line up and have exposed metal prongs showing, the Assembly Team stated this was a design flaw but that doesn't seem correct. The roof really makes a lot of noise in the wind and doesn't seem very sturdy. Overall, it's a good pergola, I just have this feeling due to the build that I will have issues down the road, things should line up better than this....
