Great frier!

I am on my second one having given the first to my son. I love this frier! It's easy to clean and I like the oil filtration system. I use it almost weekly (or more) for a variety of things, yesterday was fried mushrooms, today will be wings. It does a great job!

Can’t believe this overall rating is so low! Just used it for the first time. Cooked fish and fries. Delicious! Didn’t taste greasy, perfectly cooked, and easy to follow directions.

Not so EZ Clean Fryer

If I could give this product 0 stars I would.
Recently purchased the Ultimate EZ Clean Deep Fryer and I must admit the fryer did what it was supposed do, fried the chicken great, drained great and that's when the EZ became not so easy and a big mess.
After emptying the fryer into the tray, I noticed oil coming from the bottom of the fryer. I removed the tray and there was oil build up where it drains into the tray, cleaned it up and stored it.
A few days later when it was time to use it again, I pulled out the tray and started filling up the fryer with the oil. While filling it, the oil started seeping through the sides of the tray all over the kitchen counter and floor.
I thought eh cover might have been loose but it wasn't, stopped filling it, cleaned up and put it aside.
The next day I tried again, same thing happened, made me realize this was not what it was supposed to be.
This is not an EZ Clean Fryer.

Great fryer

I bought this fryer to deep fry multiple types of fish for our Christmas Eve celebration. The unit maintained the correct temperature for deep frying and the fish came out perfect! It was easy to assemble and easy to clean. I am delighted to have made this purchase.

We bought a fryer about a year ago looking for something to make occasional fries, calamari and beer battered fish. Used it 8 times before it stopped working. The filtration works great, but that's all it does now is filter oil.Unit won't power on, we tried the factory reset to no avail. Very disappointed in the fryer.
