Perfect size for 2 people. Takes up minimal space. Love the way the crumbs are separated from the oil! Easy to clean.

Best possible real deep fryer for 2- 3 people.

This fryer is the best small fryer you can buy. I've had many deep fryers over the years. The built in filter works great! They appeared discontinued for a time. When they became available again, I bought 2 more so I would have a backup if this failed. It has never failed and we use it regularly for entertaining and foodie experiments. The small size is perfect because it takes less oil than the larger model. Sometimes we use pricey oil, coconut oil, etc. The small fryer has a much faster recovery time than the larger one. Small one has a 40% more power per liter of oil. Everything will go in the dishwasher except the heating element. Put the oil container on the top rack. This is one of those appliances that have hit the mark for those who need a small, user friendly, high performing, deep fryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This fryer is excellent with one critical exception: The temperature will NOT reach 375 degrees. Using two different cooking thermometers, the highest temperature I could achieve was 346 degrees, which allows some foods, such as donuts to absorb oil and negatively affect the taste and product quality.
Response from tefal.comBy Customer Service, Customer Service, September 22, 2026
We’re sorry to hear about the temperature issue with your fryer. We understand how frustrating it must be when the fryer doesn’t reach the expected temperature, especially when it affects cooking results. Please reach out to our Customer Service team so we can look into this and assist you further.

I’ve only used it one time but I was very pleased with the results. The instructions for cooking times were accurate. I made fresh cut fries and I always deep fry them twice to get the soft texture in the potato and have them crispy on the outside. Clean up was so easy!

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. I love how easy it is to clean. But now we misplaced the power cord. Is it possible to buy just the cord?
