Very good value, near professional results

I have owned this fryer for a few years now and have been impressed with the performance. I worked as a chef for some years and while it cannot compare to a gas fired commercial fryer, I get raves for my fresh cut fries, fish and chips, onion rings, and plenty more.
I like the automatic oil filtration feature even though it doesn't do quite a good a job as using a paper filter. One quibble I have is that a couple of ounces of oil are always left in the bottom, it doesn't fully drain.
A word to the wise. While you can get great results with fried chicken, resist the temptation to make it until the oil is near end of life. Few things will spoil your oil faster. I like to make a big batch just before I change the oil and either freeze some of it or host a dinner party.

My boyfriend is more canola with deep fryers. He fried some catfish he brought, it turned out very good. He thinks it a good fryer. We drained the oiler into the collection container later at night.

Where has T-fal been all my life?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had you asked me a month ago, I would have told you that you would not catch me deep frying if it was the last thing on earth! It’s unnecessarily complicated, wasteful, and most of all, messy.
Enter T-fal, proving me wrong!
They created the EZ Clean Compact Deep Fryer for people who feel the same as I do. Honestly, it targets so many of the things I previously hated about deep frying that it genuinely feels like it was made specifically for me. That whole messy issue? Gone with the EZ Clean’s automatic draining. The oil filtration allows you to reuse good oil, cutting back on wastefulness. Even the set-up is as easy as can be! A dial allows you to select the temperature you want, and the system plugs in to your standard outlet. The compact size means it fits perfectly on the kitchen counter amidst your other appliances. It even comes with a frying basket that folds up to save space!
But the absolute best feature of the T-fal EZ Clean is the food! Perfectly crisp, golden brown deliciousness whenever I want. I know air fryers are all the rage, but you can’t beat the pleasure of a batch of perfectly fried fries, and now I can enjoy them any time my heart desires.

Worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Influenster and T-fal in exchange for my honest review. This fryer is great. The basket is nice and big I could fry six perch filets at the same time. It is easy to use and keeps the oil at the temperature of your choosing. You do have to use a lot of oil to fill it up, but with the filtration you can use it again and store it. I highly recommend this fryer.

I already have a request from my husband for more fried snacks lol! It’s super easy to clean and use, it even has photos in case you’re a visual learner.
