Doesn't work

Plugged it in and doesn't even heat. Oil still cold, light dosent turn on. Nothing happening. We left it on to see if it was just working slow but it just doesn't even function at all. Tried reset button and checked the wall plug but it's just not working.

HORRIBLE! Save your $$!!!

What a mess! From DAY 1, this thing has LEAKED from the oil control valve! I have resorted to putting a plastic trash bag under it to contain the oil mess! Called customer service......WOW really? Telling me that I have food lodged in the filtration system? I've used it 3 times, THREE! And it leaked after the FIRST USE! Now I wait for for an 'email' to arrive with instructions and 'parts' replacement. NEVER AGAIN TFAL!

I use this at home but I own two restaurants. Although all home units suffer from weak temperature recovery, in all this is the most user friendly home unit I have owned. Easy to clean and the oil filtration and storage components are genius. It solves the problem of storing oil elegantly. I don't do a ton of frying, but when I do, this unit gets it done. Highly recommend.

worked great , now useless, the ring clip that holds drain valve in ,broke , poor design , cannot just get the clip, have to buy a new tank valve assembly , for almost 30.00, ridiculous. pay 80.00 for something that breaks within a year.then you cant get a single part, waste of 80.00. wont be buying t fal products again, very disappointed!!!!

I've been using this for several months, now, and have had no issues with it - Grant it, I haven't broken out a digital thermometer to verify precise temperatures, but my food is cooked with great results at expected lengths of time.

Love this appliance, so I'm confused about the bad reviews!

I really like this fryer - everything about it is convenient! Yes, you can fry things at home without a dedicated deep fryer, but with this fryer, food turns out a lot better, because the oil stays at the exact right temperature. The fact that the oil goes through the filter and into the storage container makes it so easy to use. I've owned it for 5 months and have no complaints.

Temp of oil does not come to temp set on unit...terrible

Purchased at Sams and have used the product several times now..on all occasions the light would go off before the oil even got to 310. Set the unit for 375. The light would again come on and once it would go off again the oil temp, according to 3 digital thermometers, would only get to 330...not the 375 as needed....not as advertised..plus I called to customer service today and was told that only the heating element may get to 375 not the oil.....does not make sense...taken this back. JES
