Falls short

You cannot purchase an extra oil bin. One for fish and one for chicken. This is a simple item to offer. The oil at max capacity falls short of covering all chicken wings. Great concept for oil filtering but it falls short by not offering an extra bin to collect the oil.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked good for a while

I've had this fryer for just over a year and while it worked great, it didn't last. The heating element doesn't work anymore and I'm disappointed that I can't buy a heating element. You can still buy the same exact fryer but not any parts for it. So I guess it goes into the garbage can.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Deep Fyer

We use the deep fryer a lot and it works great. My only complaint is the power cord is too short and the connector was made the wrong way. This is the only place we can use the deep fryer in our kitchen, the power cord needs to be another 6 inches longer.
Other than that, we really like the drain and storage bin for the oil.

Skip the Air Fryers! Deep Fry with Tfal

Well, after 6 years of nearly weekly use, my old Tfal deep fryer finally gave out. I was so happy with the Ultimate EZ Clean (model: FR800050) that I reordered the same one again and decided to write a review after plenty of experience with this product.
First of all, if you’re contemplating this deep fryer over an Air Fryer, this Tfal deep fryer will win hands down every time. After testing an air fryer in comparison, I’ve found that the air fryer just takes too long to cook your food (20-40 minutes sometimes) and the crispness is no comparison. Nearly all food fried in the Tfal will/can cook in 2-5 minutes, depending on the type of item (and temperature) and turn out restaurant quality results. Obviously, cooking things like raw chicken wings will take longer.
The MOST important thing to remember is to fry at the correct temperature. This makes all the difference in the world and ‘really’ does not come out greasy. If the paper towel you are using in the plate is soaked with oil, your are probably cooking at too low a temperature.
The EZ clean filtration is a fantastic design and WILL extend the life of your oil. I also throw the basket, fryer lid and oil well pan into my dishwasher for an even easier clean up. This keeps oil gunk from building up in the nooks and crannies. Just make sure the oil has cooled down ‘before’ you drain the well.
And finally—after setting up my new fryer, I did notice the quality/thickness of the stainless steel is thinner. Especially the basket and oil well. I must say I’m a bit concerned that this updated version may not live up to the same use as my old one…we’ll find out.

Best home kitchen Fyer

I am original from Buffalo and finding good authentic chicken wings is a challenge. This has been a culinary life saver. My only complaint is I've been searching for a complete oil storage container kit and there doesn't seem to be any available. Only the misc parts. It would be handy if they sold a complete kit to allow for multiple oil types like peanut vegetable oil for us hard core people.

Fries to perfection

This is an awesome fryer. It really makes for crispy fries, chicken, fish. Con—- the cord is ridiculously short. Is it it did I get a fluke one? My generic fryer has a longer cord. I can plug in and still fry under vent. That’s my only issue. I love it though, I no longer have jars and jugs of oil taking up room in my kitchen.
