Awesome fire alarms

Awesome fire alarms. All 5 of my old ones went off over and over cause they were so old. These fit in the same spots my older wired alarms were. These came already paired and went up on same screws. Feel much safer. Highly recommend.

Excellent product

Excellent product, I switched because I got tired of false alarms during quick power failures that would cause all the alarms to sound in the middle of the night.
My only complaint is that the circumference of the new units are smaller than the typical box store units that I’m replacing. They show old paint marks etc.
I had to leave the old mounting plates in place and mount the new one on top of them to hide the old paint marks.

I purchased the 10 year battery smoke alarms for rental houses

I purchased the 10 year battery smoke alarms for rental houses. Smoke alarms have to have a ten year battery if they are rented to a Section Eight eligibil tenant.

They work great and the "controller" is a great tool to locating which detector sensed the smoke

Working as advertised, safer already.

Working as advertised, safer already. The 10-year battery saves money and increases safety - no forgotten battery changes. All six units preconfigured to work together - nice touch.

They work

Good & Bad that they are inter connected. If one fails they all go off and by then you don’t know which one failed and you have to replace them all.
But, if there is a fire it’s good that the whole house is alerted…

Everything was fine and worked / connected easily. The only issue I had was that I had 3 old hard wired detectors to replace and the mounting holes to your new sensors didn’t line up with the holes in the existing electrical boxes. Had to get a little creative to mount those.
