Jumpy, the cursor is all over the place. No stop/start buttons, no mute button, no programme info.
And the need to double or triple press the 'enter' button drives me nuts. Why???

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your LG MR26GA Magic Remote. We appreciate your review of the navigation controls and feature button layout. For the remote's volume and mute functions, you can quick-mute or access accessibility settings by pressing and holding the Volume Down button for about one second. To stabilize responsiveness, try re-pairing your remote by holding the Home and Back buttons together until the power light flashes, then press the scroll wheel to reconnect. You can review additional navigation and function tips at https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-oled-tv-general-remote-control-troubleshooting-guide--20154713264827?srsltid=AfmBOopBz5G9oYLy-gwyHz8iazHi00PAhRYKJVntcwv71YJmOX5tQrz6. We want to ensure your unit provides a smooth and seamless user experience. Please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com if you need further support. ^James

Doesn't work for people with Parkinson's
on August 23, 2026
Posted by: Very disastisfied
The new TV is great, the remote is useless for someone with Parkinson's or other motor control issue. It is too sensitive. Please suggest an alternative that will work or TV may need to be returned for a product that has a useful remote. This is an ADA issue and may need to file this with my state.

No Easy Mute Button
on August 3, 2026

It’s a great remote, but the mute feature is horrible.
What in the world were they thinking. No separate mute button! You need to hold the volume down button to mute, but the volume setting changes when doing that, and you have to reset the volume setting when unmuting.
