Poor battery, shuts off

The battery is extremely poor on this unit. You will be lucky to get 3 hrs. as opposed to the 12 hrs. they claim. Also shuts off for no reason. Have used it only three times and I hate it already

Perfect anniversary gift

I bought a pair of customized clip 5 as an anniversary gift for my wife and me, and I am so glad I did. The battery life is superb and easily blows my old Clip 2 and 3 out of the water. The best feature by far is the ability to sync them together. Placing them in different corners of the room creates a fantastic, immersive sound system. Highly recommended!

Is a waste of money

My JBL Clip 5 randomly turns on, then powers off. When I plug it in, it immediatly powers on, light turns red for 4 seconds, then powers off and cannot be turned back on.

If there's a light indicator when plugged in, but not turning on, please try doing a power cycle by pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds while it is not connected plugged in. Disappointed with battery life

I bought a pair of the Clip 5s to use while playing golf. The aura cast and sound are great…the battery life is poor at best. I’ve always loved JBL products, but the Clip 5s are terribly disappointing.

Amazing sound quality and long battery life

I needed a new waterproof speaker to replace the one I use in the shower, and the Clip 5 came highly recommended. I am so happy with my purchase. The sound quality is exceptional -- far superior to my old speaker -- and the battery lasts an incredibly long time. I've recommended it to at least 3 other people and will certainly consider other JBL products in the future.
