Fun Set to build

This is a neat set and it's not as bad as others have claimed in regards to the roof. Take your time and make sure the hinges are where they need to be and it goes together easily.
Well done LEGO!

Can confirm roof is a pain

The roof is terribly hard to attach. I had to create my own plan to get them on since the directions cause it to be too hard. Everything else went fine
Please give me a response about double checking because obviously the customer is wrong.

Great Build!

Hello everyone.
I am not sure why this cute and festive set gets such low marks from reviewers on the roof sections. These must be people who are inexperienced builders or first time builders because I had zero (0) issues with assembling the roof tiles and sections. They are sturdy and well thought out.
This set was cute and enjoyable and became our first "holiday" decoration in the house.
I could see making this set into a larger 2,400+ piece Creator Expert set. It was that fun!
These same people that had "issues" with the roof sections must also had the phantom issue with the Creator Expert Treehouse is step #123. That issue, like in this set, are both non-issues and should not cast a negative light on your potential future purchase.
So in summary, to the real builders of the Lego world, do not let these few reviewers bring your hopes down on this set. It was great, enjoyable, creative, and easy to assemble.

A Nice Christmas Addition

Got this for our family (OK, for me) to put out as part of our Christmas celebration. Built it early just because... Well, just because. I thought this was a fun build, a little bit challenging but not overly so, and provides a "different" Christmas visual in our house. I would definitely recommend this one.

Really loved this build. I only had one issue which was totally user error and had to go back and recheck the book. One side of the roof was off and in reading some other reviews seems others had this issue as well. I was able to fix and this set turned out great. This set was a perfect addition to my Lego displays.

Cute winter theme!

I've never been attracted to the LEGO winter village products, but this one is so cute! My children and I had a great time building it. We had a great laugh at the fact that the house come with a toilet :D
To address some concerns with the previous poster.
-The roof is a little tricky to put on, but once you have it on correctly and secured it with the poles through the center, it's rock solid. I would suggest going back a few steps to make sure you haven't made any mistakes. I had to correct my son's mistake and shoo them away to do it properly.
-The baby can absolutely play on the rocking horse. There is a little notch on the back of the "saddle" where you can attach the baby. I was thrilled when my children discovered this.
-I do agree that the baby could have been a bit more. Maybe a microfigure?
-I do agree that the colors could be more "Christmasy", but I feel that this set achieves the feel more than the other Winter Village themed products (which is why I've never cared for them) For example, the pram and the horse could have been red and green, the present could have had a snowflake instead of a heart, the frosted windows could have been yellow and green, the crib could have been brown and white, the lamps on the front door could have been sugar plums, etc.

For my findings,
-The little toy car? Train? I have no idea what it's supposed to be. I wish it was something else. The set already has a choo choo train. It could have been a tiny nutcracker, for example.
-The smoke does reach to light the brick for the fireplace, so again I suggest checking the build.
-I would like to point out that if I need to change out the battery I would have to remove a large portion of the chimney. Doable, but not a 10 second job.
-I am glad that there were only three stickers. The baby and the cookies come pre printed.
-The snow frosting and candies on the rooftops are what make set "Christmasy". I adore them. That with the red and white pillars.
-The little stockings are darlings!!! I only wish it came with a tiny one for the baby :)

Overall, I am happy with this set. My children love playing with it. I'm looking forward to building it every year!
