Great final product, but what's with the roof?

First the good news: The final product is so beautiful to look at, that you cannot help but feel happy when you see it. I love the cute little figures that come as part of the build.
Now for the bad news: The roof panels are an absolute horror show, and the rigor of putting them in place negatively affected my whole attitude toward the build. Expert level or not, it is my not-so-humble opinion that this product needs revision. The process for the placement of the roof panels is downright unpleasant.

Missing SOOOO many pieces

I waited a long time for the Gingerbread house to come back in stock and bought it for my daughters to build as a fun Thanksgiving vacation project. They got through the first 3 bags and everything was fine. Bag #4 open and they gave up. Just spent the last 2 hours going through the rest of the instructions to figure out what pieces we were missing and it ended up being over 100. I hope they ship quickly so we can have a Christmas decoration instead of a half built mess. For a toy that was as expensive as this and out of stock for so long I am really disappointed.

Intricate and SO adorable

This set was really fun to build for me (an adult who builds legos regularly).
The details and thought put into the design and details blew my mind with every step.
It has so much play potential and the little details make it so fun. Definitely my favorite set of the year! Would highly recommend!

Such a cute set

Love this set. The decor and all the little touches are great. I did not have a problem with any of the roof sections, everything fit together perfectly. This is a table centerpiece next to Santa's Visit and they look great together. These two sets may be the only ones I actually dismantle so I can put them together again next Christmas! (I hope to get the Elf Clubhouse if it comes back in stock!)

This set is super detailed from the outdoor stone fireplace to the to the family photo to the hood vent above the stove this set stands out way above the rest. Thanks LEGO for making this set available 2 years in a row.

Best set ever

Before this set, my favourite was Medieval Market Village, but this set is the sweetest gem in my collection. I was always fascinated with the house of Hansel and Gretel and this Gingerbread house kinda reminds me of it.
It was enjoyable build and I like every aspect of it.
When putting roofs you just need to be careful and it will go without problems.
