Wonderful Christmas Display Piece

Once i put together i knew it would be displayed as a Christmas decoration.Pictures dont do this set justice.Enjoy looking at it daily.

Scale is off

The scale of this piece seems large. Surely a gingerbread house should be smaller than the firehouse. Also, this was fun to build and all, but I would love if Lego would stick with more traditional Christmas village pieces. Santa's workshop (from a few years ago) and the gingerbread house are not pieces of a Christmas village.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Kid's Favorite Winter Village Set

As a mom of 3 kids, I find the Winter Village Sets to be an awesome alternative to fragile/breakable winter village collectibles. If the kids break them, no big deal, just re-build. I agree with some of the reviews that this set doesn't 100% fit in with some of the other sets, but it is by far my 3 children's favorite set to play with (ages 5, 8, and 10). These sets are for me to put together, so I did not find the roof to be overly challenging (like some reviews complain about). If you are careful and patient when building the roofs, they go together perfectly. I truly enjoyed putting this set together.

Cute set!

I bought this set because I wanted the Christmas theme. I liked the fact that all the smaller separate parts were separate, so my daughter was able to help me and put those together with me. I didn't have any trouble with the roof as I've read in some reviews. My only thing is I thought it was going to be a little bigger. Overall it was a decent set.

Wish this matched the past Christmas Village.

While this is neat and all I wish Lego would have continued making the Christmas Village. I hope that next year to have another set to go with my current village. I'm just disappointed it does not really flow with the theme of the past Holiday sets.

Very Sweet Set

This is my first holiday set and I really enjoyed putting it together. The roof was challenging, but I'd rather it hold together--I have an old Hagrid's hut and the roof always caves in when moved.
There are many sweet details in this set. I especially liked the two-sided fireplace and the colorful "candies" for the roof. I wasn't crazy about the colors of the bricks for the windows. The sparkles were fun, but the pink and purple colors seemed a bit dark.
I think my nieces and nephews will really like this at the holidays.

First Build Ever

This was our first build, and took probably longer than any expert doing it, but we had a great time, except for the ROOF!!! Agree with other comments/reviews, but be patient, move some of the attachments a snap or two and it'll fit perfectly. We are happy with it for our Christmas decor.. So happy we purchased a second build!! WOO HOO

Perfect for Christmas!

This is one of my favorite seasonal sets from Lego. At first I was concerned it might be too brown and tan, but after seeing it displayed in my local store, I was satisfied that it’s quite colorful. Construction wasn’t difficult so much as tedious; you have to pay careful attention to similar pieces that are identical on the fronts but have slightly different connectors on the backs.
The final product looks great, and I’m ready to put it out when I decorate for Christmas.
One note: the stick that activates the illuminated brick isn’t long enough to clear the chimney snowdrifts and reach the button. I added some white studs to slightly lengthen the stick, but I’m surprised Lego missed something this obvious before putting the set on the market. Still, it’s not a deal-breaker. I’m happy with the final build!
