Bucket list set

Always wanted to build a big set. Cool seeing the set on display but have more appreciation for it after building. Definitely a show/display piece at home. Just need to have patience as some steps are repetitive. Regardless a great set to build.

INCREDIBLE LEGO SET!

I got this awesome LEGO set in late 2022, but I'm just now writing a review about this set. It's, incredible. Whilst the only reasonable usage for this set is to just observe the vast amount of detail across different parts of the tower, you WILL feel amazed and shocked in disbelief at how you were able to build a masterpiece! Some old reviews stated that it was very difficult to build this LEGO set, and that this should have come with glue, and I disagree. Why? well simply put, the building process is extremely repetitive; you have to make 'X' shaped metal beams on all four sides of just one column out of 4, and they are very fragile. You must place blocks very firmly on the base so that they won't collapse. LEGOs won't stick for you, you have to have extra careful hands. Yes, the arches are extremely fragile and break apart easily when the tower is shaken, but the main first part of the Eiffel Tower is very solid.
I suggest that if you believe that you have enough time to build this set and know that this set is RIGHT for you (remember it is difficult to build with LEGOs just because LEGOs has a representation of being a "children's" toy), then it is worth the money. Other than that, then you're better off buying something easier and simpler like the Concorde or the Titanic (which I also have and is very easy).

Looks amazing but not good structurally

Absolutely love this build, looks fantastic. Couple things I don’t like is the repetitive building, and the structure of it (not structured good). The repetitive building was a lot to take in with constant x2-x4 and going up to x64/x48 of certain things. Other wise it was a good building experience. The other thing that has me confused is how the structure of the build was designed. The cross-membering with the posts are not connected to the other post as well as the arches. It feels like the base could collapse at any moment. The third section of cross-membering is the pieces slide down way too easily. It should’ve had the effect of having two clips on posts like the bottom two sections or the bars should’ve connected on the opposite of the clip. Overall it looks really fantastic and the detail is superb but the repetitiveness and the structural integrity are my two concerns.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Lego item for my bucket list

I had a great time building this with my adult children. I found a space to display in my bedroom and enjoy creating different light effects. I repurposed the box to support and display the tower. I have a small home, and I love having this displayed. The instructions were excellent, and it was a great family teamwork activity.

Having been to Paris in the past, when I saw that this Lego set was being released, I knew I had to get my hands on it. I knew it probably wouldn't be a very fun build due to the mostly monochromatic set and the repetitive nature of the ironwork, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. Let me just say that I was definitely right. This is NOT a fun build by any means. It is VERY repetitive. You basically build three separate sections four times each. Which, just by looking at it, you can clearly see that. Some people might enjoy the repetitive steps, finding it to be somewhat calming, although I was not one of those people. I will admit, however, that when it is all said and done and the model is finally put together, it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! You can't help but stand back and just stare at it. It is definitely a conversation piece and is absolutely huge when fully assembled. So yes, it may be a little boring during the actual build, but in the end it is definitely worth it and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested!
