The Longest Build Ever

I will admit that I was excited to obtain this product due to the brick count and hight, being 6'4", I should've also taken into account the tedious repetition tolerance to build the frames.
The one drawback many lego builders hate is repetition and this set s exactly that. The time that it took me to complete this massive project is one week due repeating the build instructions for the frames and let's not forget the tedious detail on the ground, building trees and assembling the street lights.
Like with others who had difficulty assembling the different segments into the tower, I too had pieces fall off, a minor negative but it wasn't too bad. Apart from all of these minor negatives, taking a week to build this tower while asssembling the Titanic took 3-4 days, I am satisfied with the results as I always enjoy building structures that come close to my height.
As for my advice to anyone who is debating about buying/ building this set and stumbles upon my review, you are warned that this structure is similar to that of doing a Lego Art products "slow, tedious and constantly repetitive". You will want t take breaks after building each of the frames, and the base structures for each segment... trust me.
While I would say that I would recommend this set, with how detailed and repetitive it is, I would only recommend it to those who have a high tolerance, patience and delicate touch as while the frames are sturdy, you will be making a lot of adjustments to bending, twisting the supports so everything lines up correctly.
All in all, I gave this set a 3/5 due to the drawbacks when building this set, similar to that of building the Colosseum
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quite the set, but……

But, to be fair, that’s my problem. If you don’t mind thousands and thousands of boring gray pieces (small ones at that) and an extremely repetitive build, then the product is just fine. Its an exercise in tedium for someone with way, way too much time on their hands.
So, why five stars?
Well, I’ve got to admit this is quite an impressive set. The effort that Lego put into it is incredible. So, let the thumbs down begin from the Lego cultists whose only adjective is ‘awesome’.

Gravity is not your friend

I was really excited to get this set. I knew it would be repetitive which doesn't bother me. The set however has some basic flaws that made it a very frustrating build, and the first build that I ever contemplated using super glue to complete. The construction of the arches on the base are just downright poor. There are too many elements that hang from connections above with too few studs to hold them in place. I found myself constantly repairing the arches which simply would not consistently hold together. Once built it looks great just don't touch it too much or you'll be in for serious rebuild. A model this size really needs to be a lot less fragile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well engineered

This set is well engineered and wonderfully put together, you assemble the tower just as the real one was assembled. At times this set can be repetitive, but once you put the final piece on and see the end result it’s all worth it. It would be a great team build as well.

Great Decoration Piece

Awesome decoration piece and worth the time spent building it! Just make sure to have a dedicated space predetermined to store it.
Like all 5000+ LEGO Pieces, this is a long and at time tedious journey. I built this piece in the span of 4 different days and spent a good chunk of each day soley focused on the LEGO. Like the Titanic and the Colesseum, the build would get monotonous and repetitive, however, this piece suffered the least amount of boredom.
Highly recommed the build to anyone with the time, money, and space!
Final complaint, would be that though there are 1:1 pictures on angling many the pieces, many of the aesthetic flairs can be too easily moved. This complaint might have more to do with my perfectionist mindset wanting each piece to be perfectly placed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This lego sets need a lot of patience, concentration and experience. I think the hardest thing of it is the repetition and the lower part of the tower is relatively loose so it's easy to drop (recommend don't touch it if it's not necessary). However it's really a great experience to build the tallest one of Lego and it completely looks the same as the real Eiffel tower. I was satisfied when I saw the final result when I finished it. One of the best architecture collections in my room!!!
