The string trimmer has 100% of the capability and 0% of the hassle of a gas powered product. So easy to operate that my 15 year old son loves using it and helping in the yard.

Not a satisfactory product

Have other Satisfactory Greenworks Pro 60v products but the bounce auto feed of the line on this trimmer doesn’t consistently advance the line so takes more time to trim.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I own a small lawn plus business and have been running battery ope handhelds pretty much exclusively for about the last 4 years......probably over a thousand hours of use with battery sting trimmers alone.
This string trimmer has a real nice build to it...seems real solid and the motor is very smooth.
The trimmer falls flat in use though.....literally useless. The problem is the programming with the way the machine reacts to resistance is way off. It will shut off at the lower power settings whenever it meets even moderate resistance.....and if you modulate the trigger at the lower speeds to what i call "tickle" trimming it will shut off at a very random point so as to make it completely useless in fragle triming situations.
At the higher settings it is equally useless suffering from the same short comings as it does at the lower settings.... Just happening with a little more resistance.... Heck this thing will even shut down when you ty to bump feed the head on the ground at times.
So form is a 5 and function is a 0.
I have about 8 amp hours of use on the machine....enough to figure it is unusable but not so much to say i over used it and had too high of expectation of a prosumer machine.

I love my new trimmer!

I got this my new electric trimmer a couple of months ago and it exceeded my expectations. The handles and strap make it very comfortable to use and the 60v battery has plenty of run time to do my entire 1/2 acre yard. It's supper quiet, my neighbors enjoy that feature as I like to work on my yard early in the morning, and has all the power you need. I like the variable speed feature alot! The gas trimmers seem to all or nothing.

I have the 60v mower. When my old trimmer stopped working, I got this set because I wanted to be able to use this battery to add some extra run time for my mower. The blower is very powerful! So is the trimmer. The trimmer is a bit heavy. My old trimmer was light, had an auto feed head, and could adjust the length as well as turn the head for edging. I do wish this one was lighter and adjustable but it works great.

Capable for most jobs but...

The 60V attachment ready string trimmer with the 4.0 Amp battery is very capable as a line trimmer and edger. My Trimmer Plus line and edger attachments work very good with it. My other TP attachments blower and cultivator fit as well. The 4.0 Amp battery last barely enough to trim/edge my property which is a little under 1/2 acre.
Using the unit as a trimmer/edger, it is comparable to my gas power trimmer with the benefit of not having to pull a cord several times to get it to start. It comes short when using it as a blower/cultivator, it has less power blowing grass clippings/leaves on top of rocks even on speed 2. When using it on speed 2, the battery lasts between 20 and 25 mins depending on the number of breaks. Although it is a bit lighter than my gas trimmer, it is heavier and louder than expected, however most of the noise comes from the rotating parts of the attachments and not the unit itself. Suggested improvements: make the battery lighter and longer lasting, the buckle on the shoulder strap presses on the body-adjustable straps don't really need a separate buckle.
