I love an electric trimmer. Pull the trigger and it runs. No struggling to start it. It is not as powerful as a gas trimmer, but it is strong enough. I would highly recommend it.

Both light weight and battery lasts a great amount of time and they have a lot of power I was truly impressed. I'm definitely gonna be purchasing more tools from here in the near future as I'm from the Midwest and the weather can get pretty hectic. I'm glad I came across their website! I highly recommend!!!!

Great as a trimmer, but needs a Greenworks-branded brush cutter to improve

I have used this trimmer for everything from trimming around garden beds to pasture maintenance and I am impressed with it's cutting power, ease of use, and battery life. The only complaint I have is that Greenworks doesn't currently make a brush cutter and despite claims that this model works with third party brush cutter attachments, I have not had success with purchasing one that does.

This trimmer is just as good as the bigger brother. I have a small patch of grass at my place which is an apartment, roughly 500 sqft, and using a large mower is very inconvenient and unnecessarily especially when there's a lot of edge and corners that you have to maneuver around and then you would still end up using a trimmer at the end to finish it. That said, I can easily use only my greenworks trimmer to do the whole area with ease and so much faster, ~ 10-12 minutes, and still have juice in it for next time and that's on a 2.0 Ah batter, imagine this thing on a 5.0 Ah battery, I probably wouldn't have to charge for a month. So, with this included battery, I charge the trimmer once a week and having used a lot of gas trimmers in the past, I can competently say that this thing is a blast, like, I can't wait for the grass to grow so I can use it again. It's a joy to see this trimmer just snip away grass without noise, smell and the constant "pulling the cord" or maintenance because the ratio of gas/oil mixture wasn't right which leads to frequent stalls.
All in all, I'm very happy with the greenworks trimmer. You pick it up, press the trigger and it starts cutting... I mean, it's a delight to use it.

I am a 61 year-old female who got this trimmer to match my Greenworks lawnmower, because I didn't want to buy a new battery charger for a different trimmer. Unfortunately, I wasn't remembering about how heavy the 60V batteries are! This trimmer is about 5' tall, and when the battery is in it, it's heavy and awkward to use. When I finish trimming, my arms are sore for days! I wish I would have gotten something smaller and just went ahead and got a new charger, but I will keep using it. The trimmer works great and I love the bump feature to release new cord.
