Mine was working great, until the string started coming out. Then in one swift moment it was gone and I can't seem to get it to stay in anymore. I suggest investing in additional spools also.

Sorry to hear of your experience. This string trimmer does not have replacement spools as it features our Load n' Go trimmer head for quick rewinding within seconds! This product may be rewound using a .080" trimmer line. You may view ours in the following links, however, you may also use line of this diameter found at your local hardware store.

I am super happy with this. I had an older battery powered string trimmer that was pretty weak and only had one string. The first time I fired this trimmer up, it felt like going from a bicycle to a race car! This trimmer has tons of power to cut through this tough Florida grass, whereas the old one would just bounce off of some of these long runners that grow all over. I have a fairly small yard, but I can do the whole yard and still have 50% battery left. This is my fourth Greenworks tool, and it's great they all have interchangeable batteries. I have a 60V Mower, edger, leaf blower and now the string trimmer, and it is so nice not worrying about engines that won't start and the messing with gas and oil. I am a very happy Greenworks customer.

I have used this a couple of time already and I really am pleased. I have also used a tiller attachment and it had plenty of power to till my small garden and a large plot for new grass. I definitely recommend this product.

Not hard to assemble, but this big heavy trimmer is not for small jobs or simple edging.
It is very powerful and has a handy adjustable power selector when you don’t need to bush hog your yard. Hopefully I will master subtle trimming soon.

Overall opinion 60v 16” attachment capable trimmer

I upgraded from the 13” to the because of the attachment capability. It works with my 5’ Ryobi pole saw and the 3’ extension. Works with my trimmer plus edger. It takes the bigger diameter string for heavier duty cutting. I don’t like the battery mounting in the top vs the end like the 13”. It is noticeably louder. That said, the pros outweigh the cons and I am impressed and the 13” has been an afterthought since getting the 16”.

Cuts well, just small - but 13" as described; would just recommend the 16"
Charges fast, able to trim my yard, neighbors yard and use the same battery to blow off the porches and driveways.
Lighter than my kobalt 40v trimmer - i am typically just using one arm as a let is hang into my ditches
Only reason not 5 stars - my 40V kobalt trimmer seems to have more ummph, which i wouldn't expect since this is a smaller cutting, higher voltage, torque max...
