I abused this trimmer on the farm and it held up!

Bought this along with a Greenworks Lawn mower, uses the same 60V batteries. First thing I did was take it down to a farm and used it for an hour and a half chopping down thick grass and weeds that was between 2 and 4 feet high! I put it through the ringer and this trimmer is a keeper!

I love clean lines in my yard but the weed wacker just wasn’t cutting it and I hated having to deal with the line breaking. This was worth the cost and makes the job sooo much easier and faster! It’s a bit heavy but that’s to be expected with the weight of the battery…
Also that’s why having a wheel on the bottom makes it even better.

Excellent performance, stellar run time, great value

I purchased this string trimmer about a month ago to replace an aging gas trimmer that I had rebuilt several times over the years. I use to dread having to pull out the gas string trimmer in hopes that it would decide to cooperate that day. Well this is no longer an issue as you just pop in a freshly charged battery and you are good to go! This thing has enough power to cut through dense overgrown grass and weeds without a hiccup, and the 4ah battery has more than enough run time for my half acre lot (only use about half the battery). The attachment capable design allows me to connect it to the previous edger attachment I already owned, furthering the versatility of this unit.

GOOD TRIMMER

I've had this trimmer about 3 years and it works really good at trimming, but I have one major complaint about it and that is when you have to replace the line this thing is a absolute nightmare,so frustrating to try and turn the knob to wind the line.Definitely wear some leather gloves and you still may end up with a blister on your hand,hard to turn the crummy designed knob,Greenworks you need to redesign this,perhaps recess a hard molded nut into knob or have one protruding out of knob and maybe we could use one of your drill drivers to put a socket on the nut and wind the line,just an idea,please correct this problem SOMEHOW!If you gonna buy one of these trimmers I suggest you go ahead and purchase some extra spools with the knob because these parts wear fast and you gonna need them if Greenworks don't redesign this spool!
