Woeka well, but short battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this yesterday and fully charged the battery. After using for about an hour on high speed, the battery already had to be recharged. The shield is pretty small and I'm getting hit n the face with a lot of debris. Good thing I wear a helmet. Other than that, it works fine. I love that it comes with a harness.

Battery died in about 15 minutes first use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Giving this two stars because I don’t really know yet the blower may be fine, but the battery stinks.The first time I use this, it was 78° outside. I was using it for leaf blowing. The battery died right away, giving a temperature error message (red light). Does not make sense to me. I had to let it cool down for over an hour before I could recharge it. Haven’t had the heart to go out there and see how long it lasts today. Feel like this battery is crap. Is this a known issue and can I get a New battery?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Based on what you described, the red temperature indicator you encountered is typically tied to the battery’s built-in protection system. Lithium-ion batteries are designed to temporarily shut down if they become too warm (or too cold) during use in order to prevent damage, and this can result in shorter initial runtime or the need to let the battery rest before charging again.
There are a few things that may help improve performance moving forward. Ensuring the battery is fully charged and properly seated before use is important, and allowing it to cool to room temperature between heavy use and charging cycles can make a difference. If the battery continues to overheat quickly or only provides very limited runtime after a few cycles, our succrss team can assist with further troubleshooting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was having trouble cutting knee high weeds from my property with a weed wacker as the weeds would tangle on the string head slowing my work to a halt over and over. Because of rocks and small stumps I decided against getting a metal blade mower and bought the Greenworks 60v-22" wheeled string trimmer and it is the best purchase I have made this year. Even though it isn't powered it cuts easily through the tallest weeds on my property cutting my mowing time way down. I highly recommend this mower for overgrown areas that need cutting.

The feel of the tools are solid. The price was an exceptional value. It will be a few days until I get to use the products and I will post further information if need be.
