Works Great!

I just bought this trimmer and used for the first time. I love the variable speed option and the bump function for feeding new line. Quick battery charge is great too.

Disappointing performance

Received as a gift this spring. Used it about 10 times, the bump feed worked sporadically. Today the spring popped up through the plastic casing. Searching this website for a replacement part ( for a relatively new trimmer) and couldn’t find one. Help !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've only used this once so far, but I really like it. It's pretty powerful, not too loud and I love that it's battery operated, since I'm a female, I don't have to worry about gassing up the trimmer. The only con is, it's not very light, as advertised. It's not super heavy, but not light also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent speed control, even down low

Exactly what I was looking for! Quiet, powerful and easily adjustable (speed). Very easy to flip and edge with, what I use it for 50% of the time. The competition does not have this level of speed control, I know, I tried it out. Once you use this for a few minutes you get a great feel for how the trigger works and it is very easy to modulate to get the speed you want. This control is necessary when trimming or edging delicate areas like tress, flowers, shrubs, etc. When you want or need more power, flip the switch to 2 and pull hard on the trigger and you won't be disappointed. Well built, not heavy and very well balanced once the battery is installed. This compliments the new 60V mower very well.

I bought this because I was gifted a 60 volt Greenworks lawn mower without a charger so I bought the trimmer for the charger. When it arrived assembly was super easy and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. Both mower and trimmer work great. Only problem has been getting batteries out of charger but not that big of a problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

good trimmer hard to respool

I love the trimmer. the spool is hard to rewind and have the bump line feed work I have restrung the trimmer numerous times but will not feed properly

Great battery life and light weight!

I got tired of my gas trimmer having issues and bought this today. I let it charge while I mowed. The battery was fully charged within an hour. I had not trimmed in about a month due to my gas trimmer not working. I used it in the low-speed setting and had no issues! Covered over 1/3 of an acre, including along a chain link fence, and still had half a battery left. Much lighter than a gas trimmer and my arms and back were not sore after use. Highly recommend!
