I bought this trimmer because of so may times I had to take my gas trimmer to the shop to get fixed because of the ethanol being mixed with the oil.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the third Greenworks tool I have purchased and it replaced a gas trimmer. It has as much or more power, is easier to use overall, and the bump string adjustment works perfectly.

The tool was poorly packaged and was loose in a rather large box. I was fearful it was going to be damaged as I opened it. The trimmer is more powerful than expected. My only complaint was the way it was packaged.

I purchased the combo set 60v trimmer and blower. I am so glad I made the purchase cause this trimmer is just as powerful as my gas one. The first power setting is great but the second one is amazing. Thanks Greenworks for making good equipment that will save us money in the long run.

Bought because was a 60V battery, voltage is the driving force. Only rated a 4 because replacing the string was a challenge. Have had other trimmers where it was much simpler.

This trimmer is very easy to use, it’s powerful and runs for more than enough time for trimming my yard. It seems to be well made and it looks like the string will be very easy to reload. It’s a bit on the heavy side but is well balanced. I had a trimmer that had a shoulder strap to take a bit of the weight and I’m going to try and make something similar for my new Greenworks trimmer.

Quiet but powerful

My old gas trimmer finally bit the dust, so I purchased this battery powered string trimmer and am so happy I did. I do not have to wear ear protection when I use this since it runs so quietly and I think this is even more powerful than my previous gas model. I was surprised at how much I was able to trim and still had plenty of battery left. I used this on the highest speed and was able to have the string trimmer run for more than 30 minutes and still had 1/2 of my battery life remaining. The battery charges from dead to full in just over an hour> I like keeping my tools organized, so was very happy I could easily hang this trimmer from a nail in my wall. Forget about gas - go battery power!
