Only complaint ever now and then the battery loses contact .I have to push the bottom of battery

Greenworks Trimmer

I have had this tool for about 1 year. It works for well. The battery charge lasts a long time. It is a real convenience not to have to use a gas powered tool. This weed trimmer works just as well as the gas powered tool and makes the job much quicker not having to add gas and spend a lot of time trying to pull start.

Charge lasts for a long time!!

I've had several trimmers over the years, I'm old!! This is the best for several reasons, but the most outstanding reason is how long the charge lasts. It has lasted all summer on one charge. Thank you for producing such a fine product.

I love this trimmer with the exception of trying to load string. Had to call a service line to get tips. The loading mechanism is a serious design flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great battery operated product

I have bought the whole line of 60v lawn equipment (mower, weed eater, blower, 16” chain saw and the hedge trimmer). The products work great and are flawless. My next purchase will be the self propelled mower.

Works Well, Spare Parts...Not So Much.

Have no major complaints with the Greenworks product's functionality. I own the leaf blower, hedge trimmer and string trimmer (all 60 amp). My first hedge trimmer stopped working due to a broken part in the trimming mechanism. Of course, I was out of warranty by 6 months, so just "bit the bullet" and bought another one (w/o battery). My only complaint is the apparent lack of spare parts for the string trimmer (specifically, the bump mechanism/string holder). I'm hoping it is just another victim of Covid-19 manufacturing/import slowdowns. I would hate to think I'd have to purchase another unit, if one of those parts break.

No more mixing gas, no more rotted fuel lines, no more using starter fluid after getting a small work-out trying to start my gas weed eater. Just put the batter in and pull the trigger. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The line that comes with it works perfectly. Got the chainsaw and extended limb trimmer as well. All work perfectly. Just pull the trigger.
