Trimmer has options to be used as a 14” or a 16” and it shipped in the 14” configuration which seems to work fine. If anything this item outperforms and I probably didn’t need the 16”capability.
Functionally you turn over the string cutter on the guard and it has a 1” offset.

I use the 2.5AH Battery that I got with my blower and I can do my entire property on 1/2 a charge. It takes maybe a 1/4 charge for my blower to finish the job.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works as advertised. Very quiet, with all the noise down low. It's so nice to trim w/o noise and fumes! I've only used it once, but it seems to be nicely balanced.

At last I have the power I deserve. Upgraded from a puny worx edger/trimmer combo that was for beginners. This trimmer gives me the power to cut through those tough weeds as well as clean up my fence line. I will do the backyard 1st. Charge battery while I mow then do the front.
I would recommend this to a friend!

In my first two uses of these items I’m impressed with the performance of both the string trimmer and the blower. So far the battery seems to have plenty of power for both trimming and blowing after mowing my 15,000 sq ft yard. The reason for 4 not 5 stars is that I’m not sure how robust the blower plastic is. No problem yet but just feels like it may not last for many years.

I got this as a replacement for the one I bought last year. I wish they would have just fixed that one. If I had bought this I would have returned it! last years model was sooooo much better.

Light weight!

I bought this for my mother a year ago and it has been a life saver! My mother is 75 and very Independent living on quite a large ranch. I usually do the weed eater areas for her as she utilizes her zero turn lawn mower.. I’m trying to be a good girl helping her. The weed eater is easy to carry and light weight. It completes the parameter plus little things, usually takes me a good hour and half to do the yard. There is generally battery life still left. I wished the double spool were easier to wind line on.. and that is my only complaint. The line comes out at a good pace and every now and then I have to manually pull line out.. rare occasion though. We have also purchased a chain saw, 16” blade for my mother to utilize so she no longer has to wait for my father to go do those little chores out on the property. She loves that too. Green works has been a lifesaver for my parents! Now I’m purchasing my own ranch and need products of my own. Just ordered the chainsaw and will eventually keep adding...Thank you Greenworks!

Terrible as an edger

I have a Greenworks mower, chainsaw, blower, hedge trimmer, and this weed eater. They all work ok, but I would've gone with a different brand if I knew I wouldn't be able to get an edger. Looking for something else as these wear out.
