Haven’t had a chance to use it much, but I’m not sure about the bump-feed advancement system can’t really tell if it feeding or not or how long the string should be. I tell more with time. Have the lawnmower with same battery it’s great.

The motor operates OK. The string cutter is not very sharp and does not cut the string easily. The bump string dispenser doesn't work well. I will be contacting Customer Service on this issue.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear of some of the challenges you are experiencing with this tool. This trimmer is equipped with a line cut-off blade on the guard. The line cut off blade continuously trims the line to ensure a consistent and efficient cut diameter. Advance line whenever you hear the engine running faster than normal, or when trimming efficiency diminishes. This will maintain best performance and keep line long enough to advance properly. The machine is set at a 11 in. (27.9 cm) cutting diameter. You can adjust to a 13 in. (33.0 cm) cutting diameter. Set the cutting diameter to 11 in. (27.9 cm) for greater runtime and 13 in. (33.0 cm)for a larger cutting area.
