Works great so far no issues. Love the fact I can place the weed wacker string through the tiny holes of spool and wind up the weed wacker string without removing entire head.

This machine sustains high RPM/torque on heavy areas and great run time. Very powerful. I switched the string cutter from short to long setting and that was nice to get that extra inch on the diameter. Where the mount attaches to the spool head appears to be much smaller and streamlined design compared to previous models. Highly recommend.

I have used this string trimmer several times since the purchase, and I am happy with this tool. The fully charged 2.5Ah battery allows me to do all the trimming and edging around my house without recharging, which is great. Compared with the corded edger I have, this string trimmer way more efficient when it comes to edging. I have not gotten the chance to wire a new string yet; hopefully, it would not be difficult. Overall, the tool does what it promises, and it runs great so far.

I'm giving this 4 stars because of three things. First, it's not easy to rotate the trim head around the shaft and get into a good position to edge the lawn. Second, it could be better balanced. Given the possible locations of the handle, you can't really get it into that sweet spot where it's neither top-heavy nor bottom-heavy. Third, and this ties into number two, the 2.0 AHr battery is a little light if you need an hour or so to do a big yard. If you use it with a 3.0 or 4.0 AHr battery, you'll get an hour of useful work out of it AND it will balance a lot better as you carry it.
Other than those two, it's a big powerful edger with a wide cutting paths and it will plow through tall weeds easily.
