starts running as soon as it winds up speed it dies

My son bought 40v 2 battery weed wacker new for mother's day second time out she complained of it dying when she uses it. It now spins up then dies like the batteries are dead but both are 24.4 V no load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged.
2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated.
3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction.

impossibly difficult bump feed

why doesn't green works make an easy feed no fail line accessory? constantly fails to bump-feed. spend more time winding this puzzle than using it. i am tempted to discard green works because of this and buying a competitors product that has the no fail easy feed. ( btw your lawnmower is excellent 5 stars!)

We bought this three weeks ago and used it a couple times now and it is perfect. Can cut through knee high grass like nothing and barely use any battery. It’s run time even with the 2.5 ah battery is phenomenal. We have had the 60v 21” push mower with a 4 ah battery for quite some time now, so figured we’d start to add to the collection. Both are amazing products.

Great power, easy to setup and use for almost all functions. It is hard to edge as the wire is hidden from the guard but you get use to it. the balance is pretty good depending on the size of the battery. Good purchase and happy with the tool
