I have had the trimmer for 3 weeks now. It has worked great. Reloading string into the trimmer is very easy. I also have the Greenworks 21 inch push mower, leaf blower and pressure washer, and they all do a great job.

While this unit is not adjustable, it has been designed to be comfortable to use for people of many different heights. Hold the grass trimmer/edger by both the switch handle and the auxiliary handle for best control and balance. The trimmer should be help at your hip. Stand with the cutting head tipped down at an angle in front, guiding the grass trimmer/edger in a semicircular motion around you. If possible, guide the grass trimmer/edger to the left to cut.

Trimmer is GOOD,

I have 4 60 volt tools all are viewed favorably - BUT - the string sold by GREENWORKS is less than desirable. I can’t get past a foot of cutting with having to tap for another serving. I’ve tried EVERYthing I could to swap to a better/ generic head for better Stri g and easier re-filling the spool. Even the preloaded spools are a challenge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the trimmer with attachments capabilities few months ago. Trimmer has lots of power and works great. The let down is that there’s no edger attachment available to buy so I been using the string trimmer to do the edging on my lawn but it takes way too long.
I understand the shortage of supplies due to the pandemic. I contacted Greenworks hopping to know when is the attachment going to be available or what other attachment brands will work with their trimmer but got no answer. So here I am, passed mid summer and still can’t use a product the way it was intended.

Easy to use

I already had the 60v leaf blower so just being able to buy the tool only and swap out the battery between the two made it easy. Trimmer works great, medium sized yard and it handle it all well.
