My new belgian love

I use this waffle maker in the mornings as a special treat on the weekends. I love it. It is easy to use and it doesn't take up a lot of space on my counter. It speeds up quick and it is easy to use. I highly recommend this product to my friends. I have used other belgian waffle makers and they are bulky and cumbersome. This is light weight and a breeze to use. I would definitely buy a KRUPS Waffle Maker.

The KRUPS Waffle Maker is an excellent piece of kitchen equipment. Upon unboxing we were a bit hesitant about it's larger footprint as we have a smaller apartment kitchen. But we were thrilled after one use and were more that happy to make room for it. The settings are intuitive and easy to control. The waffle quality is consistent and you don't need to worry about the plates overcooking waffles from the latter half of the batch of batter. Perhaps the best feature with the KRUPS Waffle maker is the fact that the plates can be easily removed for cleaning. Overall, we are very pleased with the KRUPS Waffle Maker, so much so that it has become a staple of weekend breakfasts.

PERFECT BUY!!!!

I've been in search of a Belgium Waffle Maker for several years, after misplacing my older model during a move. I have received several waffle makers for gifts and purchased a few myself. They would never meet my expectations, but this Belgium Waffle Maker have surpassed the last Waffle Maker times10.

This is my first waffle iron.. The first time I've made waffles. I've always wanted one but just never bought one for myself. My husband surprised me with this one & I'm already in love with it. The possibilities are endless! It couldn't be any easier to make the perfect waffle!

defective?

I was excited to get this waffle maker, since it made Belgian waffles AND the plates were removable. The first four waffles were picture perfect, although it seemed to take forever for the waffle iron to get preheated. When the maker had reheated, I put in the second four waffles. After the maker indicated they were done, I lifted the lid and the waffles were white on top and the bottoms were lightly browned. The top plate wasn't even hot. I turned the knob up to five, waited for the indicator to say it was ready and tried four more waffles. Same thing. The top wasn't working. I washed everything thoroughly and put on my shelf. I decided to give it another try today. Same thing happened. After 15 minutes, the maker said it was preheated. I had knob set on 3. When the first batch was done, they looked good but a little lighter than I prefer, so I turned knob up to 5 and when it preheated, I put in the second batch of batter. After about 15 more minutes, it indicated they were done, and they were not even slightly baked on top. Even the bottoms were light. I tried to pick them up and flip over, but they were too flimsy to flip. I am so disappointed because there were so many great reviews. My husband registered the warranty when I opened the gift after Christmas so we will see how that works. I am hoping this particular machine just has some sort of issue and that we can get a replacement. It seems like such a nice maker.

We just bought this waffle maker a few weeks ago and my husband has asked for waffles each weekend morning. I am amazed how perfect they come out every time. We actually went back to store and bought two more to give as Christmas gifts.

Not Heating up

I make a standard waffle with Bisquick and every time i use it the top of the waffle maker does not heat up and doesn't cook my waffles. I just got it for Christmas so it's not old.
