The iron performs quite well. The only reason I did not give it a five-star rating was that I felt the iron was a bit too heavy and slightly too large/clunky at the base. My previous Rowenta iron, manufactured in Germany, was perfection.
Great iron, easy to use and get into small areas. It would be 5 stars but it leaks a bit when you first start ironing and it is crazy heavy. I would still buy it again as it does do a great job compared to my last iron. It is also really big, but that is not a detractor.
Positive: Really great iron.Great to iron my husband's heavy Carhartt pants. Good amount of steam and I like where the shot-of-steam button is located. It's easy to see the water level and easy to fill the water tank. Negative: I have small hands and it is on the heavy side for me. Also I tend to grab the handle too high (again, I think because of my small hands) so I keep hitting the spray button and it feel like the balance can be better. But again, I have small hands.
Love this iron. It works so well it makes what is a tedious chore actually pleasant. Steam function makes quick work of a lot of jobs. Well made and sturdy without being too heavy.
Impressed so far. Very heavy and seemingly well built. Larger than my usual Rowenta. I spent a bit more in hopes that it lasts longer than 2 years, like my most recent Rowenta.
