Works great. Iron is heavier than my old Rowenta

This is my second Rowenta iron. I really like the extra surge of steam when necessary. It does the job with one swipe. The only draw back is the weight of the iron. I wasn’t aware of the amount of weight this iron has. Having some arthritis in my hands and wrist it takes quite a bit to put it up in an upright position.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best steam iron investment I’ve made. I have much more linen now and my other iron was not powerful enough. Worried about the heavier iron but it is fine and well balanced

Very heavy and not as good at getting wrinkles out. Have used Rowenta iron for the last 10 years but it died. Ordered this but very disappointed. Very heavy but this did not make this any better than my last iron.

Excellent flattening of heavily creased clothes. The steam and spray functions work well. If you have small hands you will want to add some additional grip to the handle, such as used on tennis rackets, to prevent your hand sliding when ironing fiddle items. I would thoroughly recommend this iron.

I have been using Rowenta irons exclusively for the last 30 years. No other iron can match the steam power of a Rowenta. My last iron worked for close to 8 years (longer than usual for them), but recently started turning off randomly while using so I purchased a new one. This model is not as good: in addition to being TOO big and unwieldly, it does not steam up as well - while conversely going through water more quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Powerful Steam

This was to replace an older Rowenta model that finally gave up and rusted out. The steam power and high heat on this iron is superb. It is quite heavy so it presses well. It seems to hold more water than the older models, and so far it has not had any drips. There is an uncomfortable ridge on the handle from mismatched plastic parts, but it is a taller handle and you no longer hit the temperature dial inadvertently with your knuckles as with the old model. I wish they would move the temperature dial. Be aware that the broad base while convenient for stability means it will not fit into the standard iron rest on a Rowenta ironing board anymore.

Worst iron I’ve ever owned. This iron is so heavy that I dread ironing with it. And in fact it’s so heavy I dropped it. Buyer beware.
I even called and they told me since I dropped it they can’t help me.
Awful all around.
