Awesome piece of equipment

This is hands-down my preferred machine over the competition. Mostly because of the user interface. I haven't had to open the manual once to do anything I wanted. It's all intuitive.

I am new to boating and saltwater fishing and have been able to easily adapt with the help of my twin simrad. The flexibility of personalizing the screen makes this product very intuitive.

Great features and easy to use

This has proven to be a wonderful machine. I use it 3-4times a week and keep finding new features that i didn't even know the machine was capable of. I especially enjoy the touch screen and quick regeneration. the processor speed is amazing!

Difficult to use

Not a freindly Sonar unit. Way to many unknown menu items with little to no explaining what they do or how to us the feature. The owners manual is over simpified and the You Tube videos are great but leave you trying to remember what you just learned. Re-booting the system every trip with NO SOURCE displayed at weird times. Losing the Radar the Sonar and the Mapping drives me crazy. So shut down mid trip, re-boot and they will all come back. I have owned Lawrance, Garmin, Humminbird units. All are easier to use than this system. Tons of money spent with tech support at local marine centers and the result is more issues.
I cannot recommend this flakey system to anyone. SORRY!

Fast and reliable

Love the easy interface and how fast maps load. I fish 300 trips a year and rely heavily on my Simrad products. The eco3s was a good upgrade from the 3. Much faster.
