Love it, but died within a few years--

I've had my iron for just a few years and it just died on me. I had been ironing for a little bit after piecing. I picked it up and something smelled like it was burning--when I put it back on the stand, there were no lights. No lights at all. I kept lifting it off and putting it back on just to make sure it was seated properly, but still no lights. At the price of this iron, it should have lasted for more than a few years.

Love these irons. This is my second one. Both are working great. The other one has a ceramic soleplate. Not having to constantly deal with a cord is priceless. Yes, you have to put the iron in the base to reactivate it but for quilting or sewing, you need time to reposition fabric anyway between pressing so not a big deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had the previous model of the cordless Panasonic iron. It was sturdy and worked for over 8 years! This one that I just bought wiggles and feels less sturdy. I am keeping it however I hope that the wiggling doesn’t get worse.

LOVE THIS IRON!

I had a trusty Maytag cordless iron for 20 years & it recently gave out. Since it’ was discontinued,, I had no idea what to purchase as a replacement. After too much overthinking I ordered the Silver 360° Freestyle iron. It surpassed my expectations. It’s lightweight, easy to use with multiple temperature settings. Stubborn wrinkles easily removed with powerful adjustable Steam function. You do have to place it back into the base every few minutes to recharge the iron but it’s pretty quick. IMO, it makes ironing much less of a chore.

Panasonic cordless iron

I really like it! The soleplate on my old iron was getting so it snagged on fine fabric, so it is really nice to have an iron which glides so nicely over any fabric. I have to re-charge it more often than I thought I would, but that is my only complaint.

I love the fact that this iron is cordless; it warms up quickly and is very convenient to use. My only comment is that it is very light - but it works well.

Love Having No Cord!

I was tired of having the cord in the way while ironing. I love not having to keep moving a cord out of the way. I find it’s hot enough for me. It takes 6 seconds for the iron to get recharged when putting it pack in the holder, the time it takes to reposition fabric. When first turning it on, it heats up quickly. I like being able to move the iron in two directions while ironing. So far no complaints about the product. I’ve had it for a few weeks, so hopefully it will keep working like it is now.

Ordered this because my other expensive iron quit working. Did not know about this Panasonic iron-found it on the internet. Absolutely love it! Great to have NO electric cord! Do not need my other iron-this is going to replace it. Irons nicely, heats nicely. Did 2 quilted wall hangings using this iron already. The points at both ends of iron are great when ironing seams open. Case is nice too! Thank you for making my ironing easier!
