Big letdown and disappointed

I loved this iron but also had it quit working after about a year and a half. I was told it was out of warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No heat and little steam

If you’re looking for an iron with lots of heat and strong steam for quilting, don’t buy this one. I thought I’d love this iron as it was highly recommended, but I was sorely disappointed. I’ve had it almost a month and it hasn’t improved.

Your input is important to us, as it helps us improve our technology and ensure customer satisfaction. If you are not getting enough heat from the iron, please make sure that the temperature control is set to Med or High. Depending on the setting of the temperature, the steam may also vary. High temperature setting will produce more steam, compared to a low setting. The desired temperature can be chosen by pressing the "SET" button until it lights up in the desired position. We hope this helps!

I received this as a gift for Christmas and I like it so far. I hope it won’t break in a year and a half like a previous reviewer, but if it does it’s comforting to know that Panasonic will offer thoughts & prayers. Instead of actually helping.

I bought this for my granddaughter mainly because she wanted an iron that you don't have to plug in. She absolutely loves it. She said with the narrow front it's easy to iron wrinkles.
