Useful taste

After clean it with water and boiled it in the electric kettle it still had that taste. Then I added 2 teaspoons of baking soda but left some rusty stain

The forest pout is made out of plastic and nowhere. Does it say that the blast plastic is BPA free? I’m a little disappointed in getting ready to return it.
