I wish the bottom was released by the on/off lever & a switch was put on front of base that lit red or blue when on.

Was fun to boil my first pot of water. We turned off all the lights and enjoyed the warm glow and a nice hot beverage. The exact model don’t match the list so chose the next closest one.
