Wonderful stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a glass top stove about 8 yrs ago and hated it. I bought my amana about a month ago and I LOVE it!! It's beautiful, old school top and works like a charm! Oven heats quickly and cooks evenly. I couldn't be happier!

Not that happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not think the heat setting is right for the burners. Food item continued to boil on # 2.
And leaving leftovers to stay warm on Low ( the lowest setting) the BBQ burnt to the bottom of the pan.

So much better than a glass top in my opinion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a glass top with this electric range, and could not be happier. The only "problem" I have found, is that it is a bit "noisy" when the oven is preheating, or cooling off. Small little "pops" of the metal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Room For Improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is room for improvements on the model I bought. First, the coil burners on my new model has the large and small burners in the reverse order as my previous model. I liked that the previous model had a large burner on the right-front side of the range. Alabama has switched the positions of the burners. Second, the storage space below the oven is smaller than my prior model, so I can't fit all my baking dishes in the drawer. Third, the sound on the timer is almost inaudible. As a senior citizen I can't hear the timer go off so I've had to go out and buy a timer that has a louder ring to tell me when to me when the oven goes off. The range would be perfect if those features could be implemented on future models.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like the way the eyes shut off when they get hot. The eyes shut down when you place a regular size skillet or a big pot on them. The bottom drawer is made very cheaply.
