We love the product but the siren at the end of the drying cycle is very hard on the ears and neighbors.

Great except for BUZZER

Needed this particular dryer due to depth measurement. Reviewed online and all said dryer worked great but buzzer was LOUD and no way to turn buzzer off if not wanted at end of cycle. They were right! Dryer works great, but I never heard such a loud grinding buzzer in my life! You want to really improve this product redesign with easier buzzer sound and a no buzzer switch.

LOUD HORN CANNOT BE TURNED OFF

I can’t possibly imagine how someone would design a new, modern piece of equipment with what sounds like a train horn built into it, in order to let you know that the dryer is done…THAT YOU CANNOT TURN OFF. So, it dries clothes fantastically. Efficient, quiet while working. However, if you decide to put the drier on before getting some sleep, and you sleep within a 100ft radius, be prepared to wake up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This model does have a "fixed" signal and the volume cannot be adjusted. It will buzz automatically at the end of the cycle and once the timer moves to the OFF position, it will automatically shut off. Sincerely, Joyce@GEAppliances
