We want to help you with your dryer. Your model has a "fixed" signal and the volume cannot be adjusted. It will buzz automatically at the end of the cycle and once the timer moves to the OFF position, it will automatically shut off.
Capacity and efficiency seem to be just about right. The cycle finished, notification buzzer is terribly loud. The barrel seems to be a little noisy when a large load is drying.

We're so glad that your dryer is performing well! This unit is simple to use and gets the job done. Not only is it protected by a 5-year limited warranty on parts and labor if needed, it's built to last, with upgraded hinges, knobs, door strength for long-lasting performance. It also has an extra-large heat diffuser that creates even heating and airflow for your laundry!
The end-of-cycle sound on your dryer cannot have the volume reduced or disabled. We will pass your feedback on this signal along to our product team for review.
The only reason I didn't give it a 5th star is because of the inability to turn off the widly loud buzzer. The washer from the set has a lovely lyrical sound. In the future, I recommend changing the dryer to have the same if you won't provide an option to turn it off.
Buyer Beware - You CANNOT silence the buzzer / alarm on this dryer. It is extremely loud and drives my dogs crazy, but no way to turn off.

We'd like to assist with the sound level of the dryer and your clothes shrinking. It is normal for the unit to make some sounds while operating, such as squeaking when first starting and the sound of the drum while it turns. If you haven't already, you can adjust the leveling legs as necessary until even. Make sure the dryer is on an even floor space. This can help with any shaking. For more information on dryer sounds, see here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17411#:~:text=There%20are%20normal%20sounds%20or,makes%20a%20low%20roaring%20sound.
As far as the clothes shrinking, be sure to follow the garment care labels exactly. Some items can shrink in a dryer. If there are specific items that you are concerned will shrink, it's best not to machine wash or tumble dry it.
This dryer does not get very hot. The load even when dried for twice the cycle on maximum "More Dry" still leaves elastic waist bands cold. Also the interior light immediately went out and is now somewhat intermittent. I bought the washer as well and am as disappointed in it also! Both JUNK!!!

We’d like to assist with any issues you’re having with your washer and dryer. For the dryer not heating/drying well, we recommend checking the fuses/circuit breakers to ensure there’s no issue. Some electric dryers use two fuses/breakers, and if only one is operating that may affect the performance. Troubleshooting tips regarding what to try for an issue with heating or drying are available on page 9 of the manual, linked here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--9VnfsWXi--/a6fae941c8ebd3924f25e236b092000342b7d28a.pdf
For the issue with the light, we recommend disconnecting the dryer from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it. If replacement of the light is necessary, details about that are available on page 8 of the manual.
After reviewing our system, we see you’ve been in contact with a member of our team regarding an issue with the washer. If you’re now having another issue, troubleshooting tips for the washer are available starting on page 24 of the manual, linked here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--AKgAhUAs--/r4yctjlrytehsjedypih.pdf
If you aren’t able to solve the issues with troubleshooting and think service is necessary, our Bodewell team is available at 833-426-3393. They are open Monday – Friday, 8AM – 8PM ET, and an appointment can also be scheduled online at this link: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
