Loud end of cycle buxxer

Dryer works well overall but buzzer indicating clothes are done is excessively loud.

Excellent dryer. The clothes were dry long before the cycle ended. It's simple design with no extra unnecessary bells & whistles add ons is exactly what we were looking for & this came highly recommended by our locally owned retailer. They also noted that GE products are the top rated for fewest repairs by their service techs. It has plenty of basic drying options that cover all my laundry needs. Others may mention the "loud end of cycle buzzer", but mine is the the basement & I needed a longer buzzer! Highly reccomend this dryer.

The worst dryer

Awful dryer. No dryness sensing technology.
Clothes are usually over dryed or still damp.
End of cycle alarm is louder than a smoke detector. It buzzes for several seconds, extremely loud.

The buzzer cannot be turned off as it comes equipped from the factory with a fixed end-of-cycle signal and the volume cannot be adjusted.

Great dryer without all the cheap bells and whistles that often fail and cost big bucks. This thing is well built and does exactly what you expect. Commercial build and a 5 year warranty speak for themselves. Love this machine

There should be an on/off switch or bypass option for the completed cycle buzzer. Loud and jarring.
